The Package, by Germany’s bestselling psychological thriller writer, Sebastian Fitzek (translated by Jamie Bulloch), is launched this morning by his UK publisher Head of Zeus 'with a dramatic high-concept book trailer produced and directed by Simon Harris of Simon Harris Film.'
The trailer is aired in partnership with EMPIRE magazine, and was also distributed via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube Advertising as well as utilised by retailers worldwide.
The creative team behind the trailer were commissioned by and worked collaboratively with Head of Zeus’ head of marketing Jessie Sullivan and included; Director - Simon Harris; Producer - Gabi Carpenter; Director of Photography - Theo Ribiero; Lead Actors - Eloise Black and Neville Cann.
The Package, published today in hardback and ebook, is, according to HoZ, 'a terrifying and twisted psychological thriller centred on the character of Emma, the only survivor of a killer known in the tabloids as 'the hairdresser' – because of the trophies he takes from his victims. Or so she thinks.'
Fitzek has, since his 2006 debut, sold thirteen million books and one million audiobooks. His next books, Passenger 23, Seat 7A and The Soul Breaker follow in February, May and August 2021 respectively.
Head of Zeus ceo Nicolas Cheetham acquired World English rights from Tanja Howarth on behalf of Roman Hocke at AVA International and Droemer Knaur.
